GADGET
Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione is a historic pillar of the economy and social cohesion of Trentino. Since 1895, the Federation has represented and supported hundreds of cooperatives across sectors such as agriculture, credit, retail, and social services.
To celebrate the 130th anniversary of the Cooperative movement, we designed an innovative visual identity, starting from an in-depth analysis of the historical values and social context of the cooperative network.
We developed creative concepts, animations, and logo applications, reinterpreting the ribbon — symbol of member unity — in a modern and dynamic way. The final communication kit included tangible tools such as macramé keychains, transforming the visual identity into a concrete and participatory experience for members, celebrating the bond between tradition and future.

1.
Company mapping
We collected data visually, launching the concept study.
2.
Logo design
We created 6 logo proposals, each based on different concepts and topics.
3.
Gadget
We developed physical gadgets and also suggested how to use the visual elements found for online graphics.

The Mapping
We developed a mapping after the initial client meetings, graphically representing our vision of cooperation. We defined a timeline highlighting the key milestones and core values, giving the project a visual identity.
This process allowed us to collect data visually, making it easier to identify the key concepts to develop. The Cooperative, aware of the need to bring fresh perspectives, was looking for a young gaze capable of proposing innovative ideas and interpreting historical values through a contemporary lens.
My proposal
Cooperation in Trentino runs especially deep, as it reflects values profoundly embedded in the DNA of the Trentino community: solidarity, sharing, and a sense of belonging. In cooperation, the people of Trentino found not only a practical answer, but also a collective strength capable of overcoming challenges, valuing unity and each individual’s contribution.

From this came my idea of creating a visual code based on shapes, to develop a readable scheme replicable through the same modular grid. This grid can be applied to write a consistent code. We identified four different versions, defining specific shapes that were then used for the logo composition dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the Cooperative.

The logo
The proposal most consistent with the Cooperative’s Brand Identity was selected. In this version, the Fascio Ecclesiale — the historic symbol of the Cooperative — is loosened and transformed into an open ribbon: a dynamic sign that moves through space and time. It represents the 130 years of history already lived and the drive towards the next 130, with innovation, openness, and a forward-looking vision.
“The past never stops ending, the future never stops beginning, cooperation is present”

The ribbon is alive, and we used it to create various applications, both physical and digital.

Each postcard is assigned a value, to remind everyone of the importance of cooperation.
We were a close-knit team of 8 young women around 20 years old, and we took part in the Design for the Territory Project, designed to activate initiatives across Trentino that raise awareness of the bond between citizens and their environment. We held several meetings with the communications team, alongside the director and the president. Throughout the project we developed 6 logo proposals, and once the final choice was made, we worked together to create the entire coordinated image and all the supporting materials needed by the Cooperative.
